    • New Toll Free Number for Pension and Benefits Issues
      • At the request of the BCPA, the Bank has set up a new toll-free number for its HR Centre to permit you to speak, without charge, to a Bank representative if you are not satisfied with the service Mercer is providing on pension or benefit issues. You may also call to initiate changes (eg. change of address or banking information), or to make inquiries or provide comments.

        The toll-free number is 1-866-404-7766 and the local Ottawa area number is 782-7766 (both changed as of May 27, 2004). Normal business hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday, Eastern Standard Time. You may leave a detailed telephone message after normal business hours. The e-mail address is compensation@bankofcanada.ca.
